Beware of the many so-called "miracle" diets or the stubbornness of counting the calories of each product. This only leads to frustration and results in failure. A diet with a slimming program does not work in the long term, the important thing is to opt for a balanced diet .
It is essential to have a varied and balanced diet , while having fun and practicing regular physical activity that you enjoy (this is very important).
However, it is always possible to call on a dietician-nutritionist if you are aiming for weight loss in order to have all the keys in hand to successfully achieve your goal and feel better.

The main thing is to favor foods rich in macro and micro-nutrients necessary for the proper functioning of the body: proteins, lipids, carbohydrates and fibers.
It is preferable to turn to the right foods, that is to say, foods with a low glycemic index (do not increase blood sugar = blood glucose level). In particular, try to choose complete or semi-complete starchy foods, which will promote a good fiber intake and keep you going longer during the day, this is what we call satiety .

You should try to limit foods rich in saturated fats as much as possible, such as industrial, fatty, sugary products or even pastries. These foods rich in fat or sugar are very harmful to your health and promote undesirable effects such as weight gain of a few kilos, sometimes accompanied by fat and cellulite localized in certain parts of the body.
“Good lipids” correspond to fatty acids containing omega 3 and 6 and are found in particular in oils, oilseeds, and even eggs.

Also remember to listen to your body and eat when you are hungry , taking the time to eat calmly and, above all, chew well in order to feel the effect of satiety more quickly.
The ideal plate consists of whole starchy foods, to be consumed at each meal in order to provide energy to the body, raw or cooked vegetables and animal or vegetable proteins according to your preferences.

During the day, do not hesitate to hydrate yourself by drinking water or green tea , which will have a detox action on your body. This will also help reduce your appetite during meals.

To avoid excessively high-calorie snacking in the afternoon, opt for a handful of oilseeds (cashew nuts, almonds, etc.) with some dried fruit to keep you going until dinner.

One last little tip to avoid over-salting your dishes: prefer to use spices which will add flavor to your dishes, without consequences for your health.

Finally, in parallel with your dietary rebalancing, you can turn to food supplements , which will provide you with the vitamins and minerals necessary to obtain more convincing results in the long term. However, always keep in mind that they are in no way substitutes and that their role is simply to fill potential deficiencies that you may have in your diet.
