Recently, we decided to set up Epycurian breakfasts.

What is this ? Conferences organized by health, well-being, nutrition, sport and beauty professionals who will (around a gourmet and healthy breakfast, of course!) teach you more about each of these themes.

It's used for ? Bringing together our community of idealists, who understand that being healthy is, above all, being happy. And that well-being is, above all, being good. Give some keys to get better and exchange.

For our first edition, we invited Emilie Steinbach, neuroscientist specializing in nutrition.

The theme ? How to biohack your breakfast!

In summary, Emilie covered several topics but above all she taught us the eating habits to follow and those that should be banned from our routine (and our plate)!

  • DO

🍗 Protein for energy (in meat, dairy, legumes etc.)

🐟 Good fats for rigidity (in vegetable oils, peanuts, hazelnuts etc.)

🍌 Carbohydrates and fiber to regulate appetite (vegetables, fruits, milk, etc.)

🥦 Vegetables for a balanced diet (beets, carrots, clementines, etc.)

🌾 Whole grains to speed up transit (wheat, oats, quinoa, etc.)

🍓 Pieces of low GI fruit for satiety (rhubarb, blackcurrant, blueberries, etc.)

  • OF WHICH

🥛 Too much dairy

🍪 Low-fat or processed products (low in vitamins and fiber)

🍊Too much fruit (leads to iron and zinc deficiency)

🍴A liquid meal (too low in calories)

🍩 Too much sugar (pastries etc.) weakens our immune defenses

For a great day, nothing better than combining proteins (to keep you fueled all day) , good fats (for good neurons) and carbohydrates and fiber (to fuel the brain) .

As we know that it is sometimes easier said than done, with the help of Marielle Alix we share with you the recipes that best suit your body's needs.

So no more excuses and get to your stove!

Come and answer our questionnaire to find out what your body needs and so that we can provide you with your personalized solution.
